Is a brick pathway more expensive than a standard paver path?

Brick-format pavers are priced similarly to our other paver lines — the cost driver is the base and labour, not the stone style. The main difference is pattern: brick's smaller unit size means more cuts and joints per square foot than large-format slabs, which can add modest labour time.

Will a brick pathway heave or shift like old mortared brick?

No — that's a mortared-brick problem, not a paver problem. Our brick-format pavers sit on a compacted gravel base with sand joints, the same flexible system as every paver install, so the path moves with minor ground shifts instead of cracking mortar joints.
